Anna Tong Chunyan

Anna Tong Chunyan, a graduate of Guangxi Normal University, came to Hong Kong from China in 1985. She set up the Chunhay Art Gallery in 1995. She has organised many art exhibitions and is well known in local art circles.

She has been a reporter and travel and food editor at the Hong Kong People's Daily, no longer published, and has written criticism, essays and reportage for the Sing Tao Evening News, Ta Kung Pao and Hong Kong Commercial Daily, all leading Chinese-language dailies in Hong Kong. She currently teaches Chinese and returns frequently to her hometown, Guilin, one of China's most popular tourist destinations.
