Goh Poh Seng was born in Malaysia and has been
hailed by Asiaweek as a "top-notch play-wright, novelist and
poet" and by Asia Magazine as "certainly, one of Asia's finest
living poets". After receiving his medical degree from University
College in Dublin, he practiced medicine in Singapore, where he
published his first award-winning novel, If We Dream Too Long,
and played a catalytic role in the development of culture and the
arts. He is widely-celebrated for his poetry, fiction and drama; his
previous published works include If We Dream Too Long, The
Immolation, A Dance of Moths (novels), three full-length plays and
five books of poetry, the most recent being As Though the Gods Love
Us. Goh Poh Seng lives with his wife and family in Canada.
Dance with White Clouds is his fourth novel.
