Nancy L. Penrose has been a writer and editor for two decades. Her interest in Chinese calligraphy was born when she was living in Singapore in the early 1990s and attended a class taught by Khoo Seow Hwa. She now lives in Seattle, Washington where she manages a scientific research and education program at the University of Washington.
