Robert Stone

Robert Stone, a Canadian, is a former correspondent for the Toronto Globe & Mail. He is one of Hong Kong’s most respected artistic photographers. His photography has been selected for the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. His ideas about photographic composition and technique have influenced young photographers in Hong Kong. Robert Stone is also a painter, graphic designer, composer and musician.

Robert Stone is an Assistant Professor in the school of Journalism and Communication at The Chinese University of Hong Kong where he has taught photojournalism, among other subjects, for the past eight years. As a journalist, he was posted at various times in Central America, India, the Middle East and China. His photographs and analytic writing have appeared in major publications internationally. He is the recipient of Canada's National Magazine Award for his photojournalistic work in Central America.

Robert Stone collaborated with Agnes Chen and Barry Lowe on China Now.
