Wu Tien-tze
Childhood's Journey

"The title says it all. The discovery of a childhood trauma becomes an adventure of the soul. Elegantly written and movingly told, Tien-tze's novel is a journey for young and old"

Gary Kitching
Hong Kong Magazine

Wu Tien-tze was born in Malaysia, studied in Singapore and lived for twenty years in Australia. He moved to Hong Kong just before its return to China in 1997.

As a child, his Christian father sent him to an English-language kindergarten, while his Buddhist mother took him every weekend to see Chinese opera. He graduated from medical school in Singapore before pursuing studies in writing, language and drama in Australia. In Australia, he has published one volume of poetry, Reflections from the Soul. He has also completed a screenplay, Millennium Scare. Childhood's Journey is his first novel.
