| Wu Tien-tze
was born in Malaysia, studied in Singapore and lived for twenty years
in Australia. He moved to Hong Kong just before its return to China
in 1997. As a child, his Christian father sent
him to an English-language kindergarten, while his Buddhist mother
took him every weekend to see Chinese opera. He graduated from medical
school in Singapore before pursuing studies in writing, language and
drama in Australia. In Australia, he has published one volume of
poetry, Reflections from the Soul. He has also completed a
screenplay, Millennium Scare. Childhood's Journey is his first
novel.
